GUN SPORTS RADIO
Back in 2016, Gun Sports Radio co-founder Lance Pelky had a simple wish – to positively influence his community by being an open forum for all discussion surrounding firearms. After partnering with long-time friend, radio and TV personality Dave Stall, the two went on to create Gun Sports Radio, a talk show focusing on the unique attraction of gun sports.
Pelky enlisted Michael Schwartz, Executive Director of San Diego County Gun Owners, and shared new gun knowledge and discoveries on-air with his listeners. Since then, Gun Sports Radio has become a place where everyone – even those not well versed in all-things Second Amendment – can come and learn about their right to self-defense and the importance of the Second Amendment.

Pelky, Stall, and the family at Gun Sports Radio have made it their mission to advocate for change in California’s strict concealed carry laws.
When San Diegans thought it nearly impossible to obtain a CCW permit, Gun Sports Radio worked hard to support San Diego County Gun Owners and local gun community leaders in convincing the San Diego Sheriff to update his “good cause statement definition.” Issued CCW permits in San Diego have jumped from roughly 1,300 in 2018 to 3,380 in 2019 thus far. Gun Sports Radio continues its advocacy for law-abiding gun owners in other California cities as well.
Gun Sports Radio is proud to be a place where lovers of gun sports may join a community of like-minded individuals. They are honored that their listeners tune in weekly for reliable and up-to-date relevant firearm ownership and usage information. The trust of their listeners motivates Gun Sports Radio to provide education to the public about their 2A rights and to remain active in their local government.

During their 2-hour segment, Gun Sports Radio shares the message with their listeners that they have the ability to make a difference, both as individuals and as a community.
