I live in Texas. We currently have the right by Texas law (as explained to me by several Texas Peace Officers – both local and state) to carry concealed, in our vehicles, fully loaded firearms. Is this being affected by the State\City\Federal declared state of emergency?
Although gun owners are “supposed” to have Federal protections during a declared emergency, many places (Champlain, IL, New Orleans, LA, Pennsylvania, and now Colorado) are now passing declarations that have restrictions on firearms.
Here in Colorado, they have not made public those provisions, but they exist in CRS 24-33.5-704 (7) (h). How concerned should we be>
If the state has the red flag law, as Virginia does, and Martial Law is instituted, can they take your guns then?
Have you already had a webinar on the red flag laws?
The Independent Program Attorneys have been following the Red Flag Laws as they progress. You can check out previous articles sent to members in our bimonthly newsletter: https://www.uslawshield.com/red-flag-laws/, https://www.uslawshield.com/first-fl-red-flag-law-conviction/
Is a state also allowed to ban the sale of firearms during a state of emergency/disaster?
Excellent presentation, particularly the explanation of Martial Law and defense in the event someone attempts to infect us.
Excellent video. Thank you!
The mayor of McKinney has ORDERED that citizens not gather in groups larger than 10. Is he not using the pandemic to deny us the freedom to assemble?
Thank you! Timely, and very informative.

Thank you for this webinar.
During the time after Hurricane Andrew, Martial Law was imposed on our area. We had a curfew from 1800 to 0600 every day with the Florida National Guard and the Army having the powers to arrest most people who were out during those times. I was exempt after Andrew as I worked for an agency of the State and my personal vehicle was declared an official emergency vehicle and could not be legally searched/detained. Florida now has a law on the books which allows concealed transport without a license for evacuation within 48 hours of such declaration because of what happened with Katrina.
The video was great information and after watching the video, I’m glad that I’m a member of U.S. LawShield.
After reading the comments, I am totally persuaded by the anti-gun lobby at this point and their need for more in depth background checks and mental evaluations prior to being allowed to purchase a firearm.
I am a multiple gun owner and have little or no concern about my rights being violated, yet there seems to be a religious fervor over this topic and that the government is doing so many things to take away our rights. Have you seen our government’s ability to do anything meaningful in the past 20 years. Nothing has changed. It’s taking longer for approvals because there is a major pandemic underway and government facilities are closed not that there is some conspiracy to keep you from wasting more money on more guns.. Last I checked, I could only shoot one at a time. There is no chance for martial law.. unless a bunch of dumbasses with guns take to the streets and start causing problems.. Get a grip people. FFS
Well done, thank you, I appreciate the education.
Can I still have my gun on me or in my car in Tx with a loaded clip
